牛津阅读树分为2个部分，树干和枝干。树干是主课本，数量比较大，一共16个级别。国内引进版名叫《典范英语》（Good English），把《牛津阅读树》的故事精选并整合而成。
牛津阅读树分为2个部分，树干和枝干。树干是主课本，数量比较大，一共16个级别。国内引进版名叫《典范英语》（Good English），把《牛津阅读树》的故事精选并整合而成。《典范英语》共10级，其中1-6级就是上面所说的1-9级主课本，7-10级则是10-16级Tree Top高阶部分。在排版上会紧凑些，字体偏小，阅读舒适度降低。
枝干部分是补充的系列，包括自然拼读和阅读系列。牛津阅读树的难度进阶很明显，篇幅逐渐递增，句式从简单句到复合句。每个故事会重复一些词，故事之间会相互重复，非常尊重学习的复现性规律，加上情节语境的帮助，积累词汇比较容易，是自然习得的好途径。长期坚持，会有滚雪球效应，阅读能力提升很快。
Stage 1-3 非常简单，1图对应1词或1句，适合低幼启蒙；Stage 4 开始1图对应1句或2句；Stage 5 开始1图对应2句或3句；Stage 6-7 开始1图对应4句或5句；Stage 8-9开始呈现长段落；Stage 10-16主要是小说，24个经典带图小说，66个科普，18个纪实故事，18个长大后的Biff,Chip&Kipper穿越时空的历史冒险故事（Stage10-11），从12级开始是文字较多的黑白插图小说，也就是桥梁书。
以上划分不是绝对的，孩子起点不同，速度就不同，按能力进展依次往上读即可。每个年龄段有5-6个Stage可以选择，根据自身情况选择，可根据前面提到的5指法。在读主课本读同时，可以做横向扩展阅读，比如自然拼读系列和科普冒险故事类。
网上比较多的是Read With Biff, Chip & Kipper，买的时候可以看下封面。因为是在家读的，有配套的指导书和练习题目，是不错的选择，但是数量不多。希望多读可以购买主课本，下面是牛津阅读树主课本书目供购买参考：

英文素养的深厚，还是靠平日里持续成体系的阅读，还有就是好的阅读方法，可以大大提升阅读能力、语感和词汇量。测评类的考试最根本的还是英文素养，加上一点临考技巧。前者是核心，长远来看，还是要持续不断地按正确的方法读下去，测评取得好成绩水到渠成。
