亲子阅读指导：先引导孩子看封面图：指着图上头戴花帽子的老奶奶，告诉孩子“She's an old lady.” 指着她嘴里的苍蝇，“A fly.” 为什么苍蝇会飞到她的嘴里呢？她会不会把苍蝇吞下去了啊？设悬念来吸引孩子去翻阅绘本。

She swallowed the spider to catch the fly. “to catch" 用手做“抓住”的动作。后面的内容可以采用类似的方式去讲述。这本绘本虽然每页都有新的故事发生，但它总和前面的内容紧密相扣，关键词会不断地重复出现很多次。因此家长不用太担心某个单词第一次出现时孩子会没有理解，因为后面会不断地温习重复。
