蜗牛走出了门，沿着长长的走廊。
他看到了一个喷泉。
“我很着急，”蜗牛说，
“但是我也渴了。”
Snailclimbedup.
Heturnedthehandle.
Whoosh!
Watercamerushingout.
蜗牛爬上去了。
他转动手柄。
哇哦！
水涌了出来。
“Whoa!”saidSnail.
Hetumbled.
“哇！”蜗牛说。
他摔倒了。
Snailsplashed.
Snailrested.
Snailswam.
Snailsurfed.
蜗牛飞溅。
蜗牛休息。
蜗牛游泳。
蜗牛冲浪。
"Hereisthelibrary!"criedSnail.
"Thosemustbeourbooks!"
“这是图书馆！”蜗牛叫道。

“同学们，我们今天有个新学生，”哈维太太说。
“有人能把她从校长办公室接过来吗？”
“我能做到，”蜗牛说。
“好吧，蜗牛，”哈维太太说，
“但是这次请快点。”
“我马上就回来，”蜗牛说。

有一个灭火器在门口，
“它不应该在这里，”他说。

Hissss!
Hegrabbedthefireextinguisher.
Itstartedtoshake,rattle,androll.
"Yikes!"Snailcried."Itsblastingoff!"
蜗牛推了下。

它开始摇晃，嘎吱作响，开始滚动。
“哎呀！”蜗牛尖叫着，“它爆炸了！”

“看着我！我在太空，”蜗牛喊道。

"Isanybodyhome?"Snailcalled.
Suddenlyhesawsomethingmove.
"Monsters!"criedSnail.
蜗牛降落在另一个星球上。
“有人在家吗？”蜗牛喊道。
突然，他看见有东西在动。
“怪物！”蜗牛叫道。

"MynameisEdie."
然后他看得更近了。

敲响了三角。

蜗牛指着角。
鸣笛，鸣笛，
号角响了。
蜗牛在鼓上挥舞指挥棒，
“砰，砰”鼓声响了。

"Boom!Honk!Ding!Pluck!"
"Oh,no!WhathaveIdone?"criedSnail.
蜗牛很惊讶，
他丢了警棍。
那些乐器在房间里跑来跑去。

"Oh,Snail,

"Pleasegobacktoyourseat."
“停下来！”蜗牛叫道，
他打开了教室的门。
“终于，”哈维太太说，

“粉红小姐不在那里，”蜗牛说，
乐器跑来跑去……
