Daddy says, “Now, it is time for bed,
Santa is coming soon.”

圣诞树已经装饰好，
长袜已经挂起来，
给圣诞老人准备的曲奇放在桌子上。
爹地说，“现在，睡觉时间到啦，圣诞老人马上要来了。”
Ring-a-ding-ding!
I hear bells.
It must be Santa with his reindeer and his sled filled with toys!
I know. It's Santa! He is coming down our chimney.
嘶嘶！砰！
那是什么？
我知道，那是圣诞老人！他正从我们的烟囱钻进来呢。
“Is that you, Santa?”
“No!”says Daddy.
“I took out the trash. The wind blew the door shut. Go back to bed.”
“是你吗，圣诞老人？”
“不是！”爹地说。
“我去丢垃圾了。风把门吹得关上了，回床上睡觉去。”
