Flat Stanley's Worldwide Adventures: The African Safari Discovery MP3音频下载
Children's Literature Stanley may be only half an inch thick, as the result of a bulletin board falling on him, but that does not slow the boy down. In this latest escapade, Flat Stanley heads off to Africa with his father and his little brother, Arthur, after they read a newspaper story about a flat skull that was discovered in Tanzania. They fly to Nairobi, Kenya (though Stanley has to travel in the luggage compartment, as they are not allowed to fold him into a seat pocket), and there they find a pilot who can take them to Tanzania. They must jump out of the plane before they reach their destination, and land amongst wild animals. Borrowing a canoe from a Masai tribesman—who speaks English and mentions his degree from the Sorbonne—with Stanley serving as a paddle, they continue on to find the scientist who found the skull, hoping it can shed some light on Stanley's unusual condition. Illustrated with black-and-white drawings, this amusing read ends with some fun facts about Africa, though there is no attribution. Fans of the series will enjoy this new adventure, illustrated with black-and-white drawings. % A( ^% b5 E6 v; {% P3 I- a
