The fourth novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: The Villain Virus, which is told from Julio "Flinch" Escala's point of view. The fifth novel is called N.E.R.D.S.: Attack of the Bullies, which is told from Ruby "Pufferfish" Peet's point of view. An animated feature film based on the series is in development at Elton John's Rocket Pictures.
