My Reading Library这套书由大家所熟知的英国著名专业童书出版社Usborne Publishing出品，内容包罗万象，程度由易至难，遁序渐进。本系列全是由英国著名的儿童少年阅读教育专家Alison Kelly女士监制并起草大纲而出品的。

Usborne Very First Reading 系列这个套装包括 50 本由 Usborne Reading Programme 编撰的有趣儿童故事图书，以synthetic phonics (综合自然发音教学法)为设计原则, 巧妙地结合字母与发音，创造出充满想像力的押韵的文字故事。适合初次阅读、年龄介乎 2-8 岁的小朋友。由传统寓言、神话、童谣等经典故事一一收纳。 3. 分级读物：开始 22 本图书属于 Usborne Very First Reading 级别，透过家长的陪伴和指导，适合作为开发孩子阅读兴趣系列。
4. 出版社集结众多优秀作家，聘请最富经验的儿童教育专家做长期顾问，创作出符合孩子年龄以及心理的作品。例如在First Reading Level One阶段，作为最初阅读的书目，设计者们明显注意到这个年龄段的孩子接收反应的能力并不强，所以创作出的作品单句简短，词汇也是生活中随处可见的，并且细心的把每句话都设置在十个单词以内。
而整套书，便是先由单字组成的简单的句子开始,然后在语法,句子长度,单词量，内容以及知识面上逐步加深.
5.值得说的是，这也是一套真正将“亲子共读”这一因素考虑并且设计到内容上的书。家长与孩子轮流念，家长念左边的部分，孩子念右边的部分。依照书籍的篇幅长短开始阅读，循序渐进，随着阅读书目的增加，孩子要念的部分字句也会慢慢加长。此时家长要注意，一本书到下一本书之间，给孩子足够的时间吸收与进步，反覆看同一本书不但可以增加孩子的自信心，也可以加强流畅度。

第一辑一般都是36页（每页是一、二句话），第二辑是56页（每页三、四句话），难度增加不少，不过这些和usborne合集很多是重复的。看看封面就知道2套并没有重复，所以选择哪个都不会有问题，图书2比图书1要难一些，图书1是初级阶段可看。
