2 T Q. Y5 J# m这本书的情节源于俄罗斯的民间传说。这类民间传说或者童话有很强的可塑性，尤其适用于幼儿时期的故事框架。情节简单，情感清晰，没有大道理，没有知识灌输。留在孩子心里的只是对生活的世界和与人相处的感悟。故事高手们，可以加入任何自然现象或者知识，让它成为孩子的最爱睡前故事之一。

刚开始看绘本的时候，会以为这个故事的结局会跟很多其他animals-trying-to-fit-in-a-small-space 的结尾一样，通常这种故事会以蘑菇承受不了如此多的动物最终四分五裂而结束。但是这本《Mushroom in the Rain》作者Ginsburg并没有采用这样简单的方式来结束故事，虽然老套的大爆炸结局要比一个安静低调的道理来得容易得多。
