廖彩杏英文绘本书单：Mummy Laid an Egg 妈妈下了一个蛋译文指导！

国外有一本儿童绘本，叫《mummy laid an egg》（《妈妈下了一个蛋》），这本绘本看起来很正常，他的标题像是一个童话的标题，但是其实这是一本像小朋友普及两性关系的书。

"Right," said mum and dad.
"We think it's time we told you how babies are made."
“好吧。”爸爸妈妈说：“我们觉得是时候告诉你们小贝比们是怎么来到世上的。”

"OK," we said."Girl babies are made from sugar and spice and all things nice," said mum.
“好哎。。”我们说。
“小女孩是由糖，香料和一些香香甜甜的东西做的。”妈妈告诉我们。

"Boy babies are made from slugs and snails and puppy dogs' tails," said dad. "Sometimes you just find them under stones," said dad.
“小男孩是由虫子，蜗牛，还有狗尾巴做的。”爸爸说，“有时候你就能从石头下找到它们。”

"You can grow them from seeds in pots in the greenhouse," said mum.
“你也能在温室里撒上种子，小贝比们就能从花盆里长出来了。”妈妈说。

"Or just squidge them out of tubes."
"Some babies are delivered by dinosaurs."
“或者呢，你也能从管子里挤出一些小贝比。”
“有些小贝比是恐龙接生的呢。”
