兰登《Step into Reading》第2级 A Monster Is Coming! 译文分享
兰登《STEP INTO READING》系列是一套非常适合小朋友们从基础入门，极具趣味性的英语启蒙原版书，来自美国著名大Random House（兰登书屋）的经典分级读物。
兰登是美国兰登书屋的简称，它是世界上最大的童书出版商，在欧美，它是妈妈们心目中童书品质的保证。大家很熟悉的苏斯博士的作品、贝贝熊系列、托马斯、斯凯瑞金色童书系列，还有经典绘本《小黑鱼》《和甘伯伯去游河》这些都是兰登出品的。

“我饿了”，
"I'm hungry."
虫宝宝说道。
Baby Worm said.
虫妈妈笑了，
Mother worms laughed.
并且给了虫宝宝一片叶子。
And gave the baby a leaf.
“你吃的样子像一只怪物”，
"You eat like a monster."
她说道。
She said.
尺蠖，听到虫妈妈说怪物，
Oyster, hear Mother Worm say monster,
于是就它哭着喊道，
So he cried,
“有怪物！快跑啊！”
"There are monsters! Run fast!"
尺蠖试着躲了起来，
The inchworm tried to hide.
但是它的屁股，却露在了外面。
But its buttocks were exposed outside.
“噢，不！”
"Oh, no!"
蟾蜍叫道。
The toad cried.
“一只可怕的怪物？快逃命啊！”
"A terrible monster? Run for your life!"
蟾蜍也试着躲了起来，
Toad tried to hide too.
但是，它的头却露在了外面。
But its head was exposed outside.
老鼠经过了，
The mouse passed by.
她满嘴都是种子，
Her mouth was full of seeds.
她说，
She said,
“蟾蜍，你在做什么？”
"Toad, what are you doing?"
“我正在躲避一只恐怖的怪物！”
"I'm avoiding a terrible monster!"
蟾蜍说道。
Toad said
