Inspired by love~* and all the beautiful feelings that come with it, U.K. illustrator Emma Block created drawings of untranslatable lovey words from a bunch of different languages for Vashi. The words are beautiful mouthfuls, the illustrations are pretty stories, and the complete package is great.
In all, the project was "an interesting challenge to illustrate," Block told Mashable. "I tried to think about what visuals the words immediately created. Sometimes it was quite obvious how they could be illustrated, others were more tricky."
Come on, who's not going to add "cwtch" - Welsh for "a hug, the safe place provided by a loved one" - to her daily vernacular? Love, love, love it. See some more of the illustrations (and expand your vocabulary) below.
